βA tattoo is an affirmation: that this body is yours to have and to enjoy while youβre here. Nobody else can control what you do with it.β
Welcome!
Below are a few recent posts from Instagram, feel free to visit me there for a consistently updated stream of what tattoos, or check out my PORTFOLIO for a curated selection of work.
Yes, there’s a big traditional tattoo here, but I want you to have these 3 quick, unrelated facts:
1.) Capybaras were once native to the Carolinas.
2.) Spencer’s Gifts also owns Halloween Express.
3.) the horrors never end oh god the horrors

Some tattoos I’ve done, want to do, and have gotten to see aged a bit. I trust you to know which is which.
Sleeve at the end involves a lot of reworking existing stuff.
Don’t forget to smash that face into a tree! Like and subside!

I want to tattoo the things shown in the slideshow that is this post that aren’t already tattooed, PERIODT.
Also I have like two hoodies left, but several shirts.
Thank you for your sustaining custom in these times of civilized agony.
@sickleandmoontattoo because where else are you gonna go?
I rarely say anything of substance these days on Instagram or whatever, but last night I kind of had a freakout over the state of things in this country.
Everything I know about the way one should interact with the world at large boils down to compassion, non-judgement, and remaining present wherever you really are. And those core beliefs are at odds for what I feel the future might hold, as well as conflict with what I know my own actions will be in the face of oppression, for better or worse. It’s a confusing, heavy time.
I don’t know how things will really play out. But I know I will never be guided by fear or hate, and I have do have true, genuine belief in people at large, in spite of everything.
I don’t know what else to say, or if it matters to say anything in an Instagram caption at all, but I do think it matters to say nothing, to do nothing.
I’ll be honest, at this moment I am more in love with tattooing than probably ever, but it just doesn’t feel right to promote myself and pretend like nothing is going on. It’s hard to be like “yeah come book with me while the face of our country publicly declares himself a dictator on the world stage and serious conflict brews within our own living spaces”.
But for now, I gotta fuckin eat, people’s need to assert their independence and individuality MATTERS, and I don’t know what else to do besides try to meet my obligations and be present with the people who choose to spend their time and the fruits of their own labors with me. Thank you for getting tattooed, and thank you for being here.
When I started tattooing, clipper ships were like a massively popular design. I remember having to do a shade study on one during my apprenticeship and being obsessed with the image, in spite of my distinct lack of interest in maritime pursuits. I think this is the 2nd one I’ve ever tattooed. Thanks for coming in Lee!

I try to bring a little less metaphysical douchebag energy to the function(s) these days, but man. This job is such a powerful teacher when it’s not kicking you in the nuts. Maybe sometimes even via the kicking. I love tattooing.
